I love a book that grabs me from the first page! These two characters, Scott and Carrie, meet at the Cove and spend an intense, romantic week together that changes both of their lives in more ways than one. Two years later, the spark is rekindled with just a look, but it won't be so easy to overcome their differences this time.

The author does an amazing job developing the instant attraction between these two, and that attraction kept me riveted to the page to see what would happen next. This is a great story with a great ending. I highly recommend.

You know the old saying " I don't have time for relationships" ? Well this is what starts off this wonderful read. Scott Walker really doesn't have time for a relationship, he has career ambitions and a mother and three sisters to take care of. The last thing this sexy mechanic needs is Carrie Jameson, the one he never forget, arriving in town for the holidays and shaking things up with some unexpected news.

Scott still wants Carrier, and he's not one to shirk responsibility. His issues with his own dad made anything related to parenthood look like the warzone mine fields from Iraq! But if he and Carrie can overcome their fears this could turn out to be the best Christmas ever.

The first thing I have to tell you about is this book's setting, oh my gosh it was amazing! It's like the perfect Christmas town wrapped up and stuffed under the tree just for me! And the characters wow just wow Rachel!

The chemistry between Carrie and Scott was off the charts and so addictive, once I started reading this book I could not stop, and the book hangover the next morning was so worth it.

Understandably the character of Scott was one that you know feels lost, and all I wanted to do was wrap him up in a hug and let him know that he is not the first nor the last man that will find himself in a position of being a father and not be able to know how to handle it all. Carrie was a really loving characters and my heart broke for her, I wished I could climb inside the book and somehow let her know that Scott would come around and eventually it would work out, as with everything else in life it takes time , it never simply just drops into perfect position without knocking us over first!

A really stunning, heartwarming read about second changes, and packed with so much drama you will be just like I was , litterally biting your nails and shouting out instructions !

I highly recommend this read for all fans of romances reads that has passion and flair and for anyone that loves when an author is able to let her characters reside in their hearts for a long time.

This super romance by Rachel Brimble has all the ingredients to warm you and make you melt inside in a very cold day. Both main characters are strong and complex and have their minds set on their own objectives, but the chemistry and passion between them is undeniable. When they first met three years ago, both could feel it but decided to play safe and tried to forget about each other. Now, when they meet again after all these years, the feelings are still there and it's obvious that they haven't forget about each other.

Scott is a player, he has dated most of the women in The Cove but under all these games, you can tell from the beginning that he is a good guy, truthful and reliable. And that makes it difficult to not like him. I really enjoyed his interactions with Carrie, some of their scenes together were really sexy. It drove me nuts that they were too stubborn to see that they just wanted the same thing, a happy ending.

This is the first book I have read by Rachel Brimble but it won't be the last, she knows how to write a love story. And the setting of Christmas at The Cove was beautiful, with all the snow covering the sea town. So all I have left to say is turn the Christmas music on, grab a tea and this book and enjoy a warm evening while you forget about everything else.
What can I say but wow. WOW and Wow. I was yanked into this story from the very first description. It held me captive from the first glance to the last happy tear. What a beautiful and emotional rollercoaster. I loved it. Cover to cover. Christmas, refound love, family fueds and renewals; Christmas at the Cove had it all. (Insert blissful sigh here.)
The last thing Scott expects when he stops in the local watering hole is to meet the one woman who could make him even think about settling down. Carrie never has one night stands but once she sees Scott there's something she can't resist. Three years later after promising her husband as he was dying that she'd let Scott know she had his child she ventures back to Templeton Cove.

The chemistry between Scott and Carrie was undeniable and left you on edge waiting for their next steamy encounter. I really adored Scott. His feelings were real and you wanted to reach out and give him a huge hug. I understand family loyalty, he's always there for his mother and sisters, though I felt his went a bit above and beyond. I liked Carrie but I felt she was too hard on Scott at times, considering she gave him the shock of a lifetime. In the end they learned to love and trust when times are tough. If you enjoy a heart wrenching, feel good romance I highly recommend Christmas at the Cove.
